Welcome to my film review blog. If you're looking for a review of a film that's been out for a while then chances are you already know all the details, and just want to know if it sucks or not. So that's exactly what I'll tell you.
Directed by Stuart Gordon. Written by Brian Yunza. Starring Jeffrey Combs, Barbara Crampton, and Ted Sorel. Three Stars of Review!
Remember way back when every film wasn't shot in front of a green screen? You know, when special FX looked mostly real because they actually were real? Are you like me and pine for the days when two actors on a boat meant they were on an actual boat, on actual water, and it didn't look like they were standing in front of a cartoon? Am I driving my point home?
If you are, and you're not bothered by oddly perverse horror films, then you might want to check out this follow up to Stuart Gordon's debut Re-Animator. The acting is sub par, and the sexual element is a bit hokey, but it's well directed and has some very nice looking monster make up. Oh, and boobs. Just sayin'.
